He loves the flip-up pages and the fact that you can see the gross, disgusting things coming out of this backpack. There are some items that parents might not find so appealing, but I would highly recommend it to any child who loves to read and loves "gross stuff". It is a great way to laugh and read with your child. Encourage your child to read any way you can. Look inside and you will find crumpled up pieces of paper with a wad of gum stuck in it, an envelope filled with slugs, a sandwich crawling with ants, and a chocolate bar with maggots on it. Children will love to flip through the items in this book and discover other gross things hiding in this nasty backpack. At the end of the book, there is a surprise for Mom, aside from the other disgusting things hidden inside. This review is from: My Nasty Backpack (Hardcover) Any trouble child will love this book because it is filled with NASTY things like old rotting foods, bugs and old gum and snot... My Son liked it because it was so gross If this doesnt get your naughty boy's attention, then nothing will It has a cute side to it at the end!
